On 16th August Planning Permission for a change of use for the above mentioned properties was granted. Conditions were attached and the permission for this change of use will last for 2 years.

Local resident Harry Gorst has volunteered to monitor the situation on behalf of SLRA and will establish contact with Torbay Council Environment Officer, Chris Widdecombe and the Head of EF Academy in Torquay, Mark Howe.
EF have given assurances and positive indicators that they want to see their students stay here to be a positive for the local community so we are hopeful that problems that occurred in the past will not be repeated.
