Hog roast and jazz on the lawn

Everyone is welcome to attend Rita and Eric Trotman’s home, Longcombe Farm, from 1pm on Sunday 19th June.

Tickets are £20 for the day and include a hog roast lunch and a cream tea.

HogRoast

This will be an afternoon of fun, fine food and great entertainment. There will be a jazz band and singer-guitarist, our very own Chris Noble, who will be singing and playing during the day.

Proceeds will go partly towards a new portable liver scanner for Torbay and partly to the Joseph Foundation.

The Joseph Foundation is a registered charity, founded by Rita Trotman. Rita intended her visit to help Romanian orphans in 1991 to be a ‘one-off’ trip but it has become a life-time commitment. For over 20 years she has been taking aid to the children. She and Eric, her husband, raised money to buy a house for three abandoned teenagers who, today, live independent lives in their village community. This is a truly heart-warming story and I’m sure Rita will be happy to talk about it on the 19th if you would like to hear more.
