Is anyone interested in being part of a series of music-based evenings?
The SLRA Sting Rays
The format we’re considering is one where people come along, with or without musical instruments, and perform within a very supportive group.
Some basic equipment would be provided – PA, microphones, guitar, cajon, etc…
What we’re talking about is an open-mike night, but without the egos.
All we’re looking for at the moment is an expression of interest, to establish the viability of such an event.
It would be a great opportunity for those who like the idea of performing but maybe lack confidence and experience.
