Police are asking residents to be mindful of securing bags whilst out shopping following the report of the theft of a purse from a shoulder bag in Union St Torquay  yesterday 29 August
The offender brushed/pushed past the aggrieved twice removing the purse on the second occasion.
He was described as white, 5ft 4” tall in his 40s, very thin with stubbly dark hair wearing baggy jeans, navy blue baseball cap with a leather shoulder bag across his body.
