As reported, the 60/61 service will cease on May 16.
The relevant DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) information can be viewed here.
Councillor Mark King sent us this update:
My meeting last week was an officer briefing for me to get the full facts regarding the withdrawal of this service.
The Mayor and the Ward Councillors, of which I am one, want to see this service retained.
The Senior Leadership Team at Torbay Council will be considering a report on 12th April. A range of options will be considered. This will be a closed meeting and there will be no further information available until after this meeting.
As far as the meeting at Occombe is concerned, I was given a range of dates for possible meetings following a request from the Community Development Trust [why were we not informed of this? – ed]. The 20th was the one I accepted.
Kind regards
Mark King
