The wheel is returning

A welcome (?) return for the English Riviera Wheel

The English Riviera Wheel is set to open to the public on April 17, subject to planning approval.

The wheel, at a height of nearly 60 metres, is taller than Nelson’s Column and provides breathtaking 360 degree views across the Bay and proved to be one of the many local highlights of 2013. It will once again be located in Princess Gardens, Torquay.

The installation of the wheel, by ten fully trained and qualified personnel using an inbuilt hydraulic system, will take about one week.  It will be transported to Torbay on ten specially adapted trailers.

Not everyone will welcome the wheel.  What do you think?
